The Invisible, Burnaby Police Officer Uniform Patch

original movie costume

This item was used in the movie "The Invisible" in 2007. Nick Powell was played by Justin Chatwin in the movie. This item is a dark blue triangular police officer uniform patch and it has the state of Washington logo in the center of the patch. The writing included on the item consists of three lines that says, “Burnaby Police, The State Of Washington, 1889, and WA.” This item was worn by a movie extra during the filming in Canada.
You can see this patch during various parts of the movie, but mainly at the very end of the movie. Annie Newton gets involved in a high speed car chase with the Washington police. She is desperately trying to get to Nick because he needs her with him while he is very sick in the hospital. Annie manages to lose the police, while slowly bleeding to death from a gun shot wound. This item was originally purchased through an Ebay auction and the COA is through Premiere Props. "How do you solve a murder when the victim is you?”
