Blade Runner, Bryant Johnnie Walker Black Whisky Bottle

replica movie prop

Bryant pours Rick a drink from this distinctive whisky bottle while trying to convince him to go after the Nexus-6 replicants. Several additional Johnnie Walker bottles are seen again later in Deckard's apartment, where Rick pours a drink into the same double old fashioned whiskey glass (a crystal Cini Beori 'Cibi' from Arnolfo di Cambio) included here.

No verified screen-used 2019 Johnny Walker bottle has ever been made public. Whether it was created specifically for film or possibly a 'found item' is also unclear. The same bottle (without JW labels) was seen in the movie Annie, which shared a back lot and at least one propmaker with Blade Runner. However, no match with a known mass-produced glass or plastic bottle has been made. In any event, director Ridley Scott is known to have personally signed off on the design of the bottle as used in Blade Runner.

This replica was created in extremely limited numbers, after extensive research into the correct proportions, labels, seal and cap. The seal is an actual wax seal created from a custom 'Walking Man' stamp. The labels were printed 'after hours' due to potential copyright issues. The cap is a modified Finlandia vodka bottle cap. Doing a small run of glass bottles became problematic, and then many of them were delivered broken or cracked; approximately 80, like this one, survived completely undamaged. Now filled with Johnny Walker Black.
