This backpack was acquired by the production for use by Miles Teller as "Brendan McDonough". The backpack is packed with:
- 2 empty water bottles
- 2 empty fuel bottles
- Rolls of tape
- Carabiners
- Inside a pocket is a lighter and light sticks
- Inside another pocket is a small flashlight and a small signaling mirror
- Inside is packed with pieces of foam and bubblewrap to make the pack look full
