Star Trek: Phase 2, Brad Nelson Phaser 2 replica
replica movie prop weapon
Star Trek: Phase II was a planned television series based on the characters of Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek, which had run from 1966 to 1969. It was set to air in early 1978 on a proposed Paramount Television Service (a forerunner to UPN). The series was to follow the adventures of the Enterprise crew on a second five-year mission, and be a continuation of the Star Trek franchise.
This is the phaser that was designed by Brad Nelson for use in Star Trek Phase II (which ultimately became Star Trek: The Motion Picture). The P1 and P2 are both hollow resin. It has lots of metal parts and is painted in accurate colors. It also has an accurate power meter from a vintage Realistic CB radio. Electronics from a Playmates Star Trek XI phaser were added for lighting and sound effects.
Built up by myself from a kit by TOSphaser and metal parts by Nicksdad.
