Brylcreem TV, Boy and Girl Stop Motion Puppet Heads

original movie prop

Classic 1950s to early 1960s TV series of commercials for BRYLCREEM hair treatment known for the catch pharse, from the jingle, "A Little Dab Will Do Ya!". Each spot had the boy with messed up hair failing to attract the girl, but after elbowing the tube of Brylcreem that deposits a dab on his hair instantly neating it, she runs back, chasing him, trying to get her fingers in his hair - the end of the jingle line. They were the creation of famed puppeteer Lou Bunin and accomplished in his Punch Studio in NYC.
