Star Wars: Expanded Universe, Blue Max droid from The Han Solo Adventures
made from scratch movie prop
Scratchbuilt 1:1 replica of Blue Max, the small slicer droid who is the partner of Bollux (and is kept in his chest cavity) from The Han Solo Adventures novels (Han Solo at Stars End, Han Solo's Revenge and Han Solo and the Lost Legacy) that were published between 1979 and 1980. Apart from the written description of the droid in the novels, he was depicted in the book Star Wars:The Esstential Guide to Droids, which is what I have based this build on.
