Harry and the Hendersons, Bigfoot Footprint Maker
original movie prop
The Henderson family adopt a friendly Sasquatch but have a hard time trying to keep the legend of “Bigfoot” a secret. From the 1987 famly comedy Harry and the Hendersons, this is one of the resin Bigfoot Makers seen multiple times in the film. First when George Henderson (John Lithgow) visits a Bigfoot-devoted museum run by Dr. Wallace Wrightwood (Don Ameche) to get answers about the Sasquatch living in the Hendersons' home. There are multiple foot print castings seen around the shop on the walls. The main scene it was used for is when George and his family wear these foot print makers to confuse the Sasquatch hunter Jacques Lafleur (David Suchet). The family wears the foot print makers stamping different tracks of foot print in the snow around the forest area to making Lafleur’s search for Harry impossible.
