Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Bajoran Communicator Badge - Season 1

This is an original production-made (non-screen-used), unfinished/unpainted item from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - a resin Bajoran Communicator Badge from the first season - with the top detail point still attached.
During the first season, as I am told, all of the badges were resin and the tips tended to break and the broken badges even made it into official photography on occasion. To keep this from happening the badges were switched to metal for season two and onward.
This piece was acquired directly from the prop-shop that made these for DS9 (years after the production ended) during one of the few 'garage slaes' held at their location.
