Planet of the Apes, BATTLE STAFF CLUB WEAPON HAND PROP
original movie prop weapon
This is a wooden battle staff used by the ape armies as well as the slave handlers (see the bottom photo below). Then handle is wood and is decorated with turnings as well as metal studs and chain. the tip is cast rubber (very hard) over a metal frame. Some of the spikes are damaged.
