Small Soldiers, Archer Puppet

This is a screen-used “Archer” hero puppet with light-up belt from the 1998 film, Small Soldiers. Archer is the leader of the “Gorgonites,” a band of peaceful toy creatures. This puppet was created by the artists at the Academy Award-winning effects house, Stan Winston Studio and this specific puppet was featured in scenes when a static figure was needed instead of the animatronic version. Built on a posable armature with ball and socket joints, Archer also has an LED light embedded in the front of the belt buckle that lights up and symbolizes the “toys” being cut on and coming to life. Standing thirteen inches tall the puppet and exhibiting some production wear from usage on set.
