Alien vs. Predator, Alien Chestburster Puppet

original movie prop

An Alien Chestburster puppet from the 2004 Paul W.S. Anderson sci-fi mash-up AVP: Alien vs. Predator. In the film, a group of archeologists in Antarctica find themselves standing in the middle of a death-match between two opposing alien races. Chestbursters can be seen towards the end of the film when one bursts out of a man and flies toward the main Predator, who then grabs it out of mid-air and snaps its neck. The creature is made of soft foam latex and crafted into a long, rigged creature; it has silver-colored, resin teeth in its mouth. There are fake blood stains all over the length of the body and was obtained from Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. co-founders Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff, Jr.
