The 3rd Doctor's sonic screwdriver as seen in such serials as "The Sea Devils".

This sonic screwdriver is an RB Replicas FX Sonic screwdriver from 2012. I ordered this sonic without the diagonal slot usually seen in the grip section, and then custom detailed it with marine grade boat striping tape on the grip. The red band at the top was also taped and a new run of 1/16th inch tape was placed on the yellow section over the painted black stripe to give it a more crisp look. I then replaced the emitter halo with a smaller one and thanks to a friends advice, added a stainless steel finishing washer to the center of the emitter bullet on the flat side. I secured the washer with a specially capped flat head screw I had made.

The Tardis key was made by Mooncrest Models out of Britain and is based on recent pictures that have surfaced of the key showing the details on the back. It was then cast is a very durable lead free pewter. I placed the key on a steel jump ring and located some 3mm rolo chain to put it on. Rather than having the chain with a clasp I took one link, cut it open and closed the link on the other end of the chain, then soldered it smooth making a nice clean seam you can't even see anymore.

I still have some work to do to the sonic to match the appearance further and may update this picture later but for now this will do nicely.
