Saving Private Ryan, 2 x M1 rifles

original movie prop weapon

Both used on the beach scenes. The complete rifle has a metal barrel. I got this one from 'propstore' and they told me it was called a 'sinker' so when it was dropped into the water it would sink fast past the underwater cameras. The second incomplete one is identical only missing the metal barrel and trigger guard.
