This is Mike Enslin's 1408 manuscript prop used in the film 1408. It can be seen in the sequence where Mike thinks he finally escaped the room and that it was all just a nightmare after a surfing crash. He uses his nightmare to fuel a story for a new book describing the events that occurred in room 1408. He soon realizes when he goes to mail the manuscript that he never really escaped and the room was just playing games with him.
