Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, $10 Banknote

original movie prop

A $10 bill used in the production of Tim Burton’s Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. This style of currency was used throughout the film, most notably by Charlie (Freddie Highmore) as he finds the money on the ground, using it to buy the chocolate bar containing his golden ticket. Printed in green and grey hues on thick white paper, the note has the text “National Currency” running along the top and the denomination (Ten Dollars) marked in the corners and in the lower middle of the note. Various reserve codes are printed across the face of the bill, with a face printed at its centre.
