Mike (John Cusack) examines one of these menus early in his stay in room 1408 and declares the room 'EVIL' after noticing that the 'Beer Nutts' are $8.00 Interestingly on the menu they are in fact ony $7.00 (still expensive), It is thought that the over sight is possibly due to one of John's many improve moments during the movie.
