Beneath the Planet of the Apes, replica BENEATH and TV gorilla carbine rifle

Here's on of my replica BENEATH the Planet of the Apes carbines. 

We used to do a much simpler "economy" version based on the common screen-used BACKGROUND rifles that were so plentiful on the collector's market in decades past. 

Then one day I scratched my head and said, "why on earth are we making our economy versions of the Beneath rifles copies of the BACKGROUND rifles?  They should be replicas of the HERO screen-used rifles!  That's what every sees in the close-ups on screen. Not the background prop rifles" 

So we re-tooled and ramped things up, and this is the way we make them now. 

The "economy" versions have no moving parts other than the spring-loaded trigger assembly.  The stiletto bayonet does NOT slide or retract. The details are strictly cosmetic.  The stilettos do slide on the deluxe airsoft versions, but not the economy models.
