Hollow illuminating resin replica of a ZPM, the singularly intense power source created by the Ancients, consisting of a pocket of subspace quantum foam and microsingularity encapsulated in a crystalline lattice shell. First discovered by Jack O'Neill on the planet Proclarush, who brought one back to Earth and used it to power the Ancient drone defenses in Antarctica, destroying the attacking fleet of the Goa'uld System Lord Anubis. Although their energy reserves are vast, ZPMs eventually fail, and finding undepleted units becomes a high priority for SGC.
