Some say that The Cake Is A Lie, made up by a crazy supercomputer to entice and manipulate her test subjects. Maybe so. But when the game gurus at Valve needed a physical model for The Cake, they chose this Black Forest cherry torte from the Regent Bakery & Cafe, located near their headquarters in Bellevue, Washington.

This cake is very tasty, although lighter and less sweet than many Black Forest tortes. Also note that it does lack quite a few ingredients from GLaDOS' original Logic Core recipe and, in fact, contains no resins, fish-shaped materials, sediment, injectors, or any form of rhubarb. Eating it will not result in an Unsatisfactory mark on your official testing record, or death.

Anyway, this cake is great.  It's so delicious and moist!
