A Teneebian amethyst is a highly valuable gemstone native to the Teneebian moons.
In 2161, Thy'lek Shran was accused by some former associates of his that he'd stolen a valued Teneebian amethyst. He came to Enterprise for help when they kidnapped his daughter Talla until he returned it.
This is the same type of purple-tinted glass paperweight that was used in the series finale episode "These are the Voyages". It measure approximately 3.25" x 2.5".
