TITANIC - ORIGINAL J. PETERMAN PROTOTYPE for their REPRODUCTION of “JACK’S / FABRIZZIO’S CAP”. This one-of-a-kind item was considered for inclusion into the TITANIC Movie Legends range of costume reproductions. It was dropped, however, due to the fact that the cap – originally envisaged for Jack to wear – was never used on-screen. Fabrizzio’s character did use a cap, but as he was not a male lead, they figured the item wouldn’t take-off. Strange logic, but there you have it. The TITANIC Movie Legends range of costume reproductions was officially sanctioned by 20th Century Fox and released by the J. Peterman Co. – just before they went into liquidation. This meant that the already limited range would see no new tomorrow. The entire range was snapped-up quickly and became instant collector’s items in their own right – ‘originals of originals’, so to speak. Our collection includes nearly all the character costumes produced in the range. All remain a highly-prized collectibles.
