The TD line of military binoculars, from Neuro-Saav Corporation, feature advanced computer-enhanced imaging, providing visual confirmation and tactical information on targets up to 600 km away.  Luke Skywalker uses a pair of TDs to investigate an apparent meteorite strike near the Rebel base perimeter early on, and they are also seen in use by Rebel commanders during the Imperial assault.
