This is a mass-produced/marketed reproduction of the rank pips seen throughout the series. Readily available through Roddenberry.com, they are made of metal. The set shown here denotes the rank of Lieutenant Commander. The second pic shows the obvious difference in size and colour between these and the resin-cast set on my deluxe Rubies TNG uniform.
