Privately made replica of Star Trek's first pilot ("The Cage") communicator. Much different from the Kydex and jeweled model from Wah Chang, this had a more "futurustic" appearance with exposed electronics and large knobs. The opening "antenna" was already present, probably a Matt Jeffries concept.
