Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV) (1997), Special Effects Bezoar Egg and Tentacle

This is a special effects egg and Bezoar tentacle used during season 2, episode 12, "Bad Eggs" in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In this episode buffy sets her school assignment egg on a dresser beside her bed. Once Buffy falls asleep, the egg comes to life by shaking slightly at first, then sprouting a thin probing appendage. The tentacle subsequently slides across the bed towards the slumbing vampire slayer. This display also has a hidden compartment at the base of the small pedestal which hides the remaining pipe holding the egg along with the remaining tentacle seen moving towards Buffy on screen.
