These type of cards were printed daily by Paramount Studios and handed out to various crew members. Designed for ease of use to fit in one's shirt or pants pocket, they enabled personnel, at a glance, to know which movie and director were currently on which sound stage and where various items and documents should be routed. This card includes a reference to Hitchcock's masterpiece Vertigo, known as "From Amongst the Dead" during production.
