Sampling of gold coins from the vast Lonely Mountain treasure hoard of Smaug, one of the last great dragons of Middle Earth.  Similar Dwarven coins (in silver) are used by Thorin and his men.

 

Heavy gold-plated lead-zinc alloy coins, cast from original pieces obtained from the set, in 3 sizes, each size with different images front and back.
