Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (TV) (1993), Rom Jumpsuit
original movie costume
This costume is from a lot of Rom costumes I recently purchased. The lot consists of several tops, a jumpsuit, pants, two jackets, two head wraps and boots, all with sewn in labels either indicating use by Max Grodenchik or just "Max". Max played Rom, Quark's brother on the show.
I will be posting the various versions of the costume that were in the lot. This second version consists of the jumpsuit, which was worn the most on screen. Note the velcro on the jumpsuit, used to adhere the tops to the jumpsuit on the hero costumes so that the vest or shirt will not "creep up" or come open while they were shooting a scene. By comparison, the background Ferengi costumes merely had the top sewn to the pants. In the screencap below, for example, the jumpsuit had to be worn rather than the pants or you would have been able to see the actor's stomach in this scene.
