This the original filming miniature used in the in the season two Voyager episode “Resolutions”. The open-winged ship is made from fibreglass and decorated with unique paintwork in various shades of burgundy and cream, the entire surface is covered in suitably futuristic components giving the model a wonderful sense of depth by creating shadows and texture. The model is still equipped with its fully functioning electronics, including tiny lights for the windows and larger bright engines.The model measures approximately 84cm x 91cm (33” x 36”) and also comes with a ‘spare’ front engine section that was there on set in case of emergency during filming.Originally acquired through the incredible Christies 40 Years of Trek sale in 2006 as lot 360 - however the catalogue wrongly states its use in the episode "Deadlock" in which a different (and CG) vessel was portrayed.
