This is an open-stomached torso from an unknown episode of the popular medical mystery series Crossing Jordan. The series follows medical examiner Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh (Jill Hennessy) as she solves murders by analyzing corpses. This is the torso of one such corpse from the show. Made of foam-filled silicone, this piece has been molded to mimic the chest and arms of an old man. Pink- and flesh-colored, this piece also features hand-punched hair on the chest and stomach. In the middle of the stomach, there is a jagged slit in the silicone that opens to reveal silicone guts and organs, painted red and pink. One piece that represents a section of large intestine is not attached and can be taken out. The back of this piece is unfinished; it was not crafted and has a smashed look because the piece is only meant to lie on its back. There are metal rods in the arms for support. The piece is in very good condition.
