Alien (1979), NOSTROMO Self Destruct Activator Bolt

This is a 1:1 replica of the detonation bolt used by Ripley to destroy the ship NOSTROMO. Dimensions and all other aspects were copied directly from a screen used original prop from the collection of Bill Pearson, the miniature effects supervisor on Alien.  Machined from aluminum and brass with plastic tip. Tip unscrews and is removable.
