The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Loaf of bread and lightsaber knife

This is the loaf of bread and the 'lightsaber' knife Trillian (Zooey Deschanel) uses to cut bread and instantly make toast. The toast is foam-rubber and the loose slice looks like it was originally rigged to fall over when a cable was pulled from under the table.  The 'knife' itself still functions, when pressing a button on the side of the knife, the small piece of plastic sticking out of it lights up orange.  This gave the animators a reference point to add in the light blade as a special effect. Also included here is the half-sphere shaped 'charging station' for the knife, which has a small light on it to indicate it's working (but this light was never seen on screen).  The other 3 knife handles are missing, and I believe were just dummy handles to fill up the space on the 'charger'.
