Pulse (2006), Josh's (Jonathan Tucker) Hung Head

This item is a head used in the 2006 horror film Pulse. The head can be seen in the beginning of the film as the carnage begins when Josh (Jonathan Tucker) hangs himself after inadvertently releasing a mysterious force that takes the will to live of human beings, causing a suicide epidemic. The head is made of silicone and has been crafted with a stunning level of care and detail. The piece includes a full wig, matching the actor’s hair, the face and neck are both very pale and have visible veins, consistent with the injuries that would be incurred in this instance. Also included is a full shirt matching what the actor wore on set, and a partial thermal undershirt, along with a computer cord wrapped around the neck that hides a metal cable coming from the neck, which allowed for this head to be safely hung and supported. This item is mounted on a wooden base.
