Warehouse 13, Hua Tuo Scalpel Artifact

original movie prop

In fourth season finale episode The Truth Hurts, Paracelsus tricks Pete into giving him two specific artifacts, Hippocrates' fibula and this scalpel, with the promise that with them combined he can cure Myka of ovarian cancer. After letting himself be fooled and Paracelsus to escape, Pete's ready for some payback, which comes in fifth season premiere episode Endless Terror. Tracking Paracelsus back through time and catching up to him in Warehouse 9, Pete has kept Hua Tuo's scalpel with him for just this moment, paralyzing the alchemist's leg with a nicely placed toss of the knife.

Hua Tuo was a Chinese physician and surgeon who lived in the late Eastern Han Dynasty (circa 200 AD), recorded as the first person in China to use anesthesia during surgical procedures. He also was known for his expertise in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and medical exercise regimens.

7" (18 cm) scalpel made of hard plastic, painted to resemble heavily weathered and corroded metal.
