These original 24 year old mint embroidered patches were provided to film crew members of James Cameron under-water's epic "The Abyss." Each patch was presented by the actual dive technology companies who advised Cameron and crew during the production of the movie and provided the experimental dive gear, including the futuristic helmets, dive tanks and mini-rovers seen in the film and used in it's making. If you have seen the original The Abyss film crew jackets we have offered a few times here on ScreenUsed, these patches were given as crew gifts, in addition to those designed by the productions art department, to sew onto those crew jackets. Very scarce.
