The Disciples, Felix's shirt

original movie costume

In 1999 I played a henchman extra in the movie Disciples starring Ice-T and Eva Mendes. The movie was rated one of the top 100 worst movies of all times. In fact I've never seen it and I had 3 scenes in the movie. I'm not even sure if I made the final cut. My scenes were shot in Palm Beach. In one scene I was on top of the courthouse dodging imaginary bullets from live gunfire while running with a stunt MP5. In another scene I'm in a boat marina searching for bad guys near a boat slip. In my last scene I play Vincent Castellanos body double. Vincent played Mateo in the movie Anaconda. He was the first person to get killed in that movie. He's the human figure you see in the snakes belly as it swims under the water after swallowing him whole. Vincent played Felix in the movie Disciples. His character used scalpels as weapons. On set he ended up receiving an injury to his leg from one of the scalpels and required medical attention. I was used as his stand in while he was getting patched up. The scene I'm in is me wearing his hero flashy shirt raising my arm to look at a photograph of Ice-T's character. This wardrobe shirt on YourProps is the shirt I wore in that scene. The costume department had 3 on hand and let me purchase one the last day of the shoot. Eva Mendes was on shoot one day and I was lucky enough to have lunch sitting next to her. She is very friendly and engaged in conversation. Lunch that day was lobster tail and steak. It was a memorable day. In the photo I'm on the left. Thanks for viewing.
