Spider-Man 2 (2004), Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) neck tentacle appliance
original make-up / prosthetics
This is a Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) tentacle piece from the 2004 blockbusting comic book adaptation Spider-Man 2. This vertebrae-like neck appliance is made out of a combination of foam and metal, with the bottom seven segments made entirely out of foam for the actors comfort. The top five segments feature a flexible foam core and gradually decrease in size, allowing the segments to stay in synchronized movement with each other. The piece comes on a custom display stand which features the film’s logo laser-cut on the front. The logo illuminates by ultra-bright LED lights, powered by replaceable batteries, and can be easily switched on/off with a button located on the display's back. A superb and instantly recognizable piece from the movie, which is still in very good condition with some minor production wear. The entire piece, including the display, measures approximately 12" x 6" x 12" (31cm x 15cm x 31cm.) Comes with Certificates of Authenticity from Propstore of London - LA.
