The first Star Trek hand weapon, precursor to the phaser, used by Captain Pike and the Enterprise crew when confronting the Talosians in the first original series pilot, The Cage.

This brass, aluminum, resin and acrylic replica was engineered from direct measurements of Greg Jein's screen-used prop. Modern enhancements include a Delrin sleeve within the extending outer brass barrel (for smooth scratch-free excursion), and a functional red laser diode.
