Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Boatswain's Whistle

Overengineered version of a boatswain's (pronounced 'bosun's') whistle or call, used to pipe Klingon Chancellor Gorkon and his staff aboard the Enterprise-A for a dinner party marking the start of diplomatic negotiations between the Federation and the Klingon Empire.

This hollow resin replica features custom decals, and screen-accurate illumination consisting of red and yellow rectangular LEDs activated in two sets by momentary contact switches on top of the device.  (Why a whistle would need lights at all is anybody's guess.)
