The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Bloody Checks From The Floor Of The Hewitt House

original movie prop

The is a collection of original cancelled checks dating back to 1936, that were used as set dressing on  the floor of the Hewitt house, these checks are covered with splattered blood used during the various murder scenes that did not take place in the basement.

Each cancelled check is original and different and belonged to the owners of the house that the film was made, these are amazing one of a kind pieces from the film. The house has been abandon for decades and the crew was given permission to use anything inside of the house in the film, so long as it was disposed of after use.

The checks comes with a highly detailed LOA from a member of the crew and how and when they were aquired.

What makes this item very interesting is...its not only a movie prop used in the film, but its also a actual item that came from the house and owned by the owners of the house and has been there for decades then later used as prop.
