Back To The Future 2 (1989), Back To The Future Flying DeLorean Nose From Original Film Mold

This is a fibgerglass DeLorean nose that was made from the original molds created by Gene Winfield and used to make the flying DeLorean for Back to the Future Part 2.  This nose was hanging in the office of one of the companies that worked on some of the promotional vehicles in the mid 1990s.  There is one DeLorean collector in the midwest who owns a full size fiberglass DeLorean prop  that was also made out of these molds.  There are some details on this that match up to the original car on screen with how they prepped the mold and some of the items on the bottom. Instead of conduit there is blue chaser rope lighting for effect. The molds were returned to one of the custom movie car shops in California and rumor has it they got destroyed becase of poor storage when they were returned to California.
